Today we headed into Barcelona taking in the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya. The museum is home to a wide range of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque artwork and artefacts including paintings, carvings, sculptures, metalwork, and enamels. The museum also exhibits the largest collection of Catalán art in Spain.
After a hearty Sushi lunch we did a spot of shopping. I think I have left the good weather in England as its gonna be a wet Bank Holiday Weekend in Barcelona!
A quick stop at Barcelona’s Boqueria Market we picked up some lobsters for dinner, the food is so fresh and tasty; Ive never seen fresh vegetables so big!
