Good News to share, I found out today my photograph; taken for Love the Salon in Cheltenham has made it through to the Finals of the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy 2013. Good luck to the team for the upcoming Final!

Love the Salon Cheltenham Spa Photoshoot
Last week I was commissioned by Love the Salon in Cheltenham to shoot their entries for the Wella Trend Vision competition 2013. It was great working with their Talented styling team.
Throughout the afternoon we shot three distinctive looks, I wish Graham and the guys all the best for the competition and hope to work with them again soon!

Vidal Sassoon Summer Shoot
I love working with the team from Sassoon, over the past two years we have created some fabulous hair photography. This week the stylists wanted to experiment with hair extensions adding a fringe and using movement we shot some interesting shapes.
The images are great, thank you to all those involved, I look forward to working with the Liverpool Team on their next project.

I have been itching for weeks to shoot model Kate Waldron again and this week I decided to organise a hair and beauty style photoshoot at the studio in Manchester.

Here are some shots from my latest shoot with the Vidal Sassoon Team in Liverpool, using movement we created some fabulous images showing off the texture and shape of the hair.
Vidal Sassoon a Legend of Hair Dressing
It was just a few days ago that I learned Vidal Sassoon had passed away on the 9th May at his home in LA at the age of 84.
From an early age I have always been aware of Sassoon’s work as my mother visited a Sassoon Salon once a month for her geometrically perfect hair cut.
Sassoon was a legend of hair dressing and his ability to bring geometry to the technique of hair cutting and styling will live on. This man liberated women from hair curlers and sticky hair lacquer.
“I’ve had so many star-quality clients, but when a working girl comes in and she’s saved five shillings to have a great haircut once a month, I treat her like a princess.” Vidal Sassoon
I have worked with Sassoon Stylists for many years and know without a shadow of a doubt his legacy will live on. In tribute to Sassoon see below some of the work I have completed with Sassoon Styling Team’s over the years.

Pierre Alexandre Collection Photoshoot
Pierre Alexandre Salons in Manchester has been a client for several years, and 2012 is Pierre Alexandre’s 50th Year in the Hair Industry.
To celebrate the salon organized a new marketing campaign and a Fashion show to preview their new collections including a classic Gatsby and a Fresh Modern Style to their Portfolio.
Pierre Commissioned me to shoot his new collections and to capture the behind the scenes action from the event.
A big thank you goes out to Makeup Artists Nita Malata & Bethany Leah Pentelow, Fashion Stylist Steven Spencer and his team, and all the staff at Pierre Alexandre and all the models for an amazing job throughout the weekend.

I’ve been working with Pierre Alexandre Salon in Manchester creating wonderful hair and beauty photography for over 3 years now. Last month Pierre Commissioned me to shoot the salon’s entries for the Loreal Colour Trophy Competition; and I was pleased to learn the team made it through to the Regional Finals.

Francesco Group Salon Photoshoot
This month I was commissioned to shoot the Wella Trend Vision Competition entries for the Francesco Group Salon in Chester. Working with the team and models throughout the day to create some wonderful hairstyles for the competition.
I was pleased to hear this week that the salon has made it though to the Regional Finals so congratulations to the styling team I hope they make it through to the finals in London.
